Takehiro Tomiyasu is excited about joining Arsenal.
The former Bologna defender will finally join his new team once his commitments with Japan is over this coming week.
Tomiyasu said: "I have had a lot of injuries in Italy, there have been a lot of muscle injuries in the last couple of years.
"I was not in the best shape, I could not play one hundred percent or I was not happy with my game.
"I hope that moving to Arsenal will help me get on a positive path. I feel like the team is changing. Getting into the Premier League was my goal, I am happy to move to such a big club as Arsenal."
