PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino has refused to announce whether Lionel Messi will be fit for their clash with Manchester City.

PSG host City tomorrow night in their second Champions League group game.

Pochettino said, "Manchester City have been under the best coach in my opinion.

"They want to win the Champions League. Winning the Champions League would be a dream for us.

"But it is a process that takes time and investment.

"In terms of that process City are further ahead than PSG but in a football match anything can happen."

Further on Messi, Pochettino continued: "We are talking about the best player in the world. But saying that, you need to understand that he is a man like us who needs to adapt to the new club.

"The family needs to adapt to a new society and culture. Let the player adapt and start to feel at home. Now everything is new.

"He arrived not too long ago. Over time, we are working together. He is getting to know his teammates and he is going to succeed and win big things for the club."
