Bologna boss Sinisa Mihajlovic hopes that everyone in his squad will be inspired by Takehiro Tomiyasu moving to Arsenal.
The Japanese international secured a deadline day transfer to the Premier League.
The defender, who can play right back and centre-back, starred for Bologna in Serie A before the switch.
"There are so many: Svanberg, Skov Olsen, Barrow, Dominguez, Hickey and others. They have been here for some time, and I expect the leap in quality," said Mihajlovic after a 1-0 win over Hellas Verona, per Football Italia.
"They have room for improvement, but they have to believe more in themselves. The path of Tomyiasu must be an example for everyone. If he did it, everyone can do it."
