SHAH ALAM – The issue of the degazettement of the Kuala Langat North Forest Reserve (KLNFR) will be tabled by Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari during the state exco meeting on Wednesday.
In a statement today, the state Pakatan Harapan said the decision to bring the matter to the exco level follows a meeting with chiefs of PH components in Selangor earlier today.
They gave their views on the issue, and agreed to the matter being brought up to state excos for a decision, said the statement.
On the state PH’s stand with regard to the proposed Petaling Jaya Dispersal Link (PJD Link), it said: “Selangor PH notes that PJD Link has not been approved by the state government. The meeting also agreed to reject any attempt to revive the Kinrara-Damansara Expressway (Kidex) project, or other similar projects.”
The statement was jointly issued by Amirudin, who is chairman of the state PKR and PH, state DAP chairman Gobind Singh Deo and state Amanah chairman Izham Hashim. – Bernama, September 3, 2021
