Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo was very happy with his goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini after a penalty shootout win over Wolves in the Carabao Cup.

Spurs and Wolves played out an entertaining 2-2 draw over 90 minutes, before the London outfit emerged victorious over spot kicks.

Gollini, a summer signing from Atalanta, put in an important save to ensure his side went through to the fourth round.

"Penalties is not luck, penalties we have to work on and the boys really practice, they did it very well and Gollini was good," Nuno said post-game, per the club website.

"It's part of the game so we have to work on it, of course we had the input of (Rui) Barbosa (goalkeeper coach) on the penalties to give the info to Gollini – that helped as well."
