Xisco Munoz has described Watford's loss to Stoke City as "incredible".
The Hornets mustered 24 shots in the Carabao Cup third-round clash, but still lost 3-1 to the Championship club.
"I think today is incredible," said Munoz after the game.
"Today the game was perfect, but the keeper saved incredible balls, we hit the post, we missed chances. Sometimes it happens in football and we need to keep going. The positive is that everyone worked very hard.
"Sure, it was another chance, but sometimes it's incredible like this in football.
"I think in the second half we had control of the game, we had I don't know how many chances, but I can only think we can say it was an incredible game, I have no other words about this."
