Cristiano Ronaldo has dismissed critics who say he is too old to make a difference at Manchester United.

The Portuguese became a force to be reckoned with during his first spell with United between 2003 and 2008.

Now back at Old Trafford at the age of 36, Ronaldo insists age will not slow him down during his second stint at the club.

Speaking to MUTV, Ronaldo said: "I'm here to win, people before speak about the age but they should understand and they know that I'm different, I'm different from the rest of the people.

"I show that off all the time, year by year and this year will be the same.

"I know 100 per cent that I will do it good with the boys, with my teammates, the supporters will be on our side."
