Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta admits he is excited at the prospect of Reiss Nelson getting game time at Feyenoord.

Arteta was speaking to the press ahead of Arsenal's vital Premier League game against Norwich City at the weekend.

The Gunners have lost their first three matches of the campaign.

Arteta was asked about how young players like Nelson can get more experience playing abroad.

He responded: "That's what we are hoping for him.

"I think it's a club that's going to suit him really good, a manager that really rates him and believes that his qualities will fit in the model that he wants. He's going to have the time to play.

"It's been a difficult year for him. He has enormous quality and he needs to show it. He's at the right age right now to prove that he can do it and we wish him all the best."
