Cristiano Ronaldo has taken part in his first training session with Manchester United.
The 36-year-old, who signed a two-year contract last week, had to spend five days in isolation after returning to the United Kingdom from Portugal before the weekend.
United have now released images of Ronaldo with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, raising hopes that he will be in contention to make his second debut for the club on Saturday.
Newcastle United are the visitors to Old Trafford and Ronaldo is set to join up with his new teammates ahead of his highly anticipated return.
According to the club's official update, after the Portuguese legend met up with Solskjaer, he was introduced to United's players and joined in their session.
