Liverpool and their boss Jurgen Klopp are boosted by the news that Harvey Elliott is fit to play.

The teenager was a doubt for the game with a slight knock, but is said to be in contention for a starting spot against Leeds United at the weekend.

Elliott, who was on loan at Blackburn Rovers last term, has started two of the club's first three Premier League games of the season.

He was not with the England Under-21 squad during the international break, but The Athletic states his injury is not as bad as feared.

The 18-year-old is available for selection.
