EMCO in Pahang’s Sg Lembing, Sabah’s Lahad Datu villages from Tuesday till Sept 27

KUALA LUMPUR – One locality each in Pahang and Sabah will be placed under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) from Tuesday to September 27.

National Security Council director-general Datuk Rodzi Md Saad said the areas involved are Kg Kolek Low-Cost Housing Project in Sg Lembing, Kuantan, and the IOI Plantations Unico Oil Mill Sdn Bhd housing estate in Segama, Lahad Datu, Sabah.

“The standard operating procedures (SOP) for all EMCO areas are the same as previously announced,” he said in a Facebook post today.

Meanwhile, Rodzi said the EMCO in Kg Nelayan Benut, Sg Pinggan, Pontian, Johor, which was scheduled to end tomorrow, has been extended till September 20.

He added that the EMCO in three localities in Sabah, namely, Taman Megah Jaya and Kg Bukit Gemuk in Tawau and Kg Nasakot in Ranau, will end tomorrow as scheduled. – Bernama, September 12, 2021
