Brighton coach Graham Potter has a positive fitness update regarding right back Tariq Lamptey.
The 20-year-old has not played in the Premier League this season, following an injury he sustained in December during a game against Fulham.
However, Potter has revealed that Lamptey is now getting involved in warm-ups and some other sessions in training.
Albion's head coach said, per The Argus: "Tariq played in an internal game yesterday (Tuesday) just for 20 minutes in an 11vs11 and came through fine.
"He did really well which was a positive.
"We are hopeful that we can work towards but are reluctant to put timescales on it but maybe Swansea in the Carabao Cup, some involvement for him there if things go well.
"So he is getting close to a return."
