Huge drop in Covid-19 cases to 10,959, less than 1,000 in S’gor

KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia saw a substantial decrease in Covid-19 cases today to 10,959 from yesterday’s 13,104. 

Health Director-General Tan Sri Noor Hisham Abdullah said this takes the cumulative number to 2,209,194.

While Selangor finally dropped under 1,000 cases with 979, Sarawak topped the list with 2,723 infections, followed by Johor (1,226), Kelantan (983), Penang (793), Sabah (751), Pahang (739), Perak (713), Terengganu (691), Kedah (660), Melaka (346), Kuala Lumpur (176), Negri Sembilan (110) and Putrajaya (18). 

Labuan saw no new cases.

Meanwhile, Dr Noor Hisham said non-intensive care bed occupancy stands at 59%, while ICU bed occupancy is at 68%. – The Vibes, September 27, 2021
