Manchester City hero Paul Dickov insists there's positives to draw from their Champions League defeat at PSG.
Despite the disappointment, Dickov believes Guardiola and his players should be encouraged by the performance, which he says highlighted how superior City are to a side widely regarded as one of the best in Europe.
“Anyone who knows anything about football can see how far ahead we are of PSG, because we were tonight, in every department," he told City's website.
“To go to Paris after a tough game against Chelsea and put in that performance and dominate PSG the way we did, it just looks so good for the future.
“PSG are one of the favourites for the Champions League and we dominated them.
“Stats don't mean a lot, but you look at the possession, the shots we've had, but then when you have got Lionel Messi in your team… I can't remember him doing anything at all tonight, until the goal.
“It was a fantastic finish, we're 2-0 down and then it's game over, but I think Pep will look at the performance and be really pleased with that.
“We're all disappointed we've been beat, but performance wise there were big performances from big players."
