Manchester City midfielder Riyad Mahrez has moved to deny being critical of teammates in a recent interview.
Mahrez has denied he made comments about his City teammates suggesting "they don't give a s***" about other matches.
Quotes were attributed to the forward which claimed he was unhappy at a perceived lack of interest in other scores and results from some of his teammates.
As well as appearing to point criticism at Man City colleagues, the comments also alluded to the fact he had friends in the game, who were only playing for the money, rather than for the love of the sport.
However, Mahrez has since taken to social media to address the comments, posting: "Never said this or anything close to this."
