Championship side Derby County are set for a windfall if youngster Kaide Gordon plays against Norwich City in the Carabao Cup.

The Reds are likely to rotate their team for the midweek fixture, with several reserve and youth team players getting a chance to impress manager Jurgen Klopp.

Gordon was sold to the Reds by Liverpool in January, and The Telegraph suggests that Liverpool will have to pay Derby £100,000 if he plays against Norwich.

Derby, who are facing administration and a points deduction, will welcome any cash that may ease their present woes.

Gordon has scored two goals in three Premier League 2 games this term.
