Liverpool and Porto played out a 1-1 draw in their UEFA Youth League tie on Tuesday.
Melkamu Frauendorf's 80th-minute equaliser cancelled out Diogo Abreu's second-half opener to secure the young Reds a hard-earned point at Estadio Luis Filipe Menezes.
The result leaves Liverpool and Porto joint top of Group B on four points after two matches, with Atletico Madrid and AC Milan back on one point apiece following their draw in Italy earlier in the day.
Frauendorf - who replaced Kaide Gordon at the break - earned the point for the Reds late on. A terrific pass from deep by captain Tyler Morton found Frauendorf's out-to-in run and the Germany U18 international produced a cool finish to beat Porto goalkeeper Ivan Cardoso and claim a point.
Liverpool U19s: Davies, Bradley, Chambers, Koumetio, Beck, Stephenson, Morton, Balagizi (Norris, 78), Gordon (Frauendorf, 46), Musialowski (Corness, 90), Woltman (Cannonier, 78).
Unused substitutes: Mrozek, Bajcetic, Clark.
