Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says they must embrace the week ahead.

City have a huge eight days coming up, starting at Chelsea today, then followed by a trip to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, rounding off at Anfield against Liverpool a week on Sunday.

But City boss Guardiola is relishing the prospect.

“It's so nice," he said. "It's a privilege.

“To get better is not possible. We go to London and prepare and then after we prepare the next one.

“Every year I get the idea that the Premier League is harder than before. It's really tough. An incredible challenge for us.

“We accept the challenge and will go for it. It's a big compliment for the Premier League and it should be so proud of the fantastic competition we have."
