Former Arsenal fullback Gael Clichy says they need to beat Tottenham today to prove themselves.
The North London will be held at the Emirates stadium later today.
Clichy said: "For me coming from France it was very special.
"There's never been more emotion put into a game. It was a different time when I played in them, Tottenham wasn't the same team they are now and the same with Arsenal. There's so much to play for.
"Even if Arsenal have won their last two games, without disrespecting anyone they were won against bottom-half of the table teams. They need to win otherwise it will be a long season."
