Manchester United are ready to name Ed Woodward's successor as executive vice-chairman.

Sky Sports' Mark Kleinman is reporting the club are set to announce Richard Arnold as his internal replacement in the coming weeks.

He stated: "Manchester United are closing in on the appointment of a successor to Ed Woodward, with Richard Arnold, another of the Premier League club's senior executives, expected to succeed him.

"Sources say an announcement is possible in the coming weeks."
