This is only one of the myriad of tricks utilized by scammers to fool their potential victims. Each year, many seem to still be falling prey to these scam tactics, despite countless awareness attempts by social media users.
The one simple solution is this: make sure you're buying from Apple's authorized sellers, or save your money.
