Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte is ready for some revenge when he turns out for Spain against France.
Laporte is set to start the Nations League final against Les Bleus, where coach Didier Deschamps refused to consider him before committing to La Roja.
He said,"What Spain gave me, throughout my career and not only now, has nothing to do with France."
Laporte also reflected on their semifinal defeat of Italy in Milan.
He added: “It's a bit of a revenge for what happened during the Euro. A match that is settled on penalties ... it always stays a bit in the head. We had the injury of not being able to reach the final and win the trophy."
