RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku previously stated his annoyance at Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchle, amid speculation linking him with the club.
Nkunku is enjoying a very good season in the Bundesliga, prompting transfer speculation of a move to the London club.
However, Nkunku may not want to move to Chelsea while German coach Tuchel is in charge, as the coach was the reason Nkunku left Paris Saint-Germain in 2019.
Talking to Canal Plus, the Frenchman said: "The arrival of Tuchel made me think.
"The fact of starting a season without really knowing what role you are going to have, it's quite complicated.
"There comes a time when you come to the end of your contract and you have one year left, either you extend or you leave, I made the choice to simply leave."
