Leeds United goalkeeper Dani van den Heuvel has signed a new deal that will keep him at the club until 2024.

The Dutchman signed for Leeds United back in 2020 on a three-year deal from Ajax, where he had been part of the youth set-up for three years.

Prior to that he had been at ADO Den Haag.

In a statement Leeds United said: “Leeds United are pleased to announce Dani van den Heuvel has signed a new contract with the club.

“The 18-year-old goalkeeper has put pen to paper on a deal running until the summer of 2024.

“Dutchman van den Heuvel joined Leeds from Eredivisie outfit Ajax in the summer of 2020 and went on to be a regular feature in the Under-18s side last season.

“He becomes the latest young player to sign a new contract with the club and will now be looking to break into Mark Jackson's Under-23s side over the coming months."
