Newcastle United caretaker boss Graeme Jones admits they're in a relegation battle after their 3-0 home defeat to Chelsea.
Newcastle are now three points adrift in the bottom three and could even drop to the foot of the table if Norwich beat Leeds.
Jones said: "We are in a relegation battle. There's no question about that.
"We need to face it like men, stick together and believe we'll come through."
Jones added: "Once the first goal went in that is when the disappointment came from.
"The manner of the reaction.
"Three goals in 16 minutes was disappointing because the game was never that wide open.
"Up to 75 minutes we needed to be in the contest.
"We were competitive.
"It was a difficult afternoon, I'm not denying that.
"We don't want to play that way. It is where we are at this minute in time."
