Tottenham are ready to go back to Metz for a second signing.
The Sun says Spurs are back scouting French club Metz to keep an eye on new star Boubacar Traore.
Spurs have already done a deal for midfield sidekick Pape Matar Sarr, 19, to join permanently next season.
But their spies also spotted Malian Under-23 ace Traore, 20, who is seen as Metz's latest big talent and could yet follow his mate to London.
He only made his club debut in May but knows a senior call-up for the African Cup of Nations in January could clinch a UK visa for him.
After two appearances at the back end of last season, Traore has become a regular this term.
Having appeared in eight of Metz's first nine Ligue 1 matches, the midfielder is in contention to play at Afcon with Mali.
