Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo is delighted with his form this season.
Cancelo has been one of City's standout performers in an impressive start to the 2021-22 campaign, playing the full 90 minutes in each of their nine Premier League outings.
“I've grown up as a right back, but I like to be versatile and during the year we will always have injuries," Cancelo told the club's website.
“I like to be proactive in the team, I like to adapt to whatever position my manager puts me in.
“Pep (Guardiola) has been helping me a lot in this aspect. Nowadays I feel that I'm a better player mentally, physically and tactically.
“I try to do my best to adapt and help the team with the objectives."
