Italy coach Roberto Mancini was unhappy with home fans jeering Gigio Donnarumma during their Nations League semifinal defeat to Spain.
PSG goalkeeper Donnarumma left AC Milan last summer, upsetting fans in the process. Upon his return to San Siro, Donnarumma was booed by the home support.
“It certainly won't have pleased him, just as it did not please us. Gigio did well," said Azzurri boss Mancini after the 2-1 loss.
“Obviously, it was disappointing, because this was Italy playing, it was not a club match.
"They could've put it aside for one match, maybe saved it for PSG-Milan, because Italy are meant to come above everything else."
