SHAH ALAM – Kuala Selangor will be the first district to have its water supply restored following the maintenance and upgrading works on critical assets at the Sg Selangor Phase 1 Water Treatment Plant, which were completed at 5am today.
Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said Klang, meanwhile, is expected to be the last location to see the resumption of supply.
“Areas close to Kuala Selangor will be among the earliest to see their water supply restored, while Klang, or around the Andalas area, will be the last,” he told reporters here.
He said several locations began to see supply resuming about 4pm due to the maintenance works being done earlier than expected.
“By tomorrow, between 50% and 60% of the affected areas will have their water supply restored.” – Bernama, October 14, 2021
