Gabriel is delighted to have Aaron Ramsdale behind him in the Arsenal defence.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper was signed from Sheffield United this past summer as competition for Bernd Leno.
Ramsdale has since won the starting spot as Arsenal have gone four games unbeaten.
Asked about playing with Ramsdale, centre-back Gabriel said: "He is very good goalkeeper.
"He is another new guy who is very young and has a bright future ahead of him. He helps us a lot.
"He is good communicator on the pitch and his distribution is also very good."
