Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce has met with new director Amanda Staveley after last week's takeover.
ChronicleLive says Bruce has met Staveley and members of the Newcastle consortium as the pressure builds on the Magpies boss.
The new owners are getting down to work on the huge task of turning around the club after Thursday's media day and meeting with club staff - including receiving a standing ovation - on Friday.
And today they met Bruce and the players for the first time since Thursday's buy out.

The manager's future is at the top of everyone's agenda but the approach has been consistent from the consortium: they will take time to make a decision and speak to Bruce before announcing their call. But he is widely expected to depart this week with Graeme Jones handed the job on a caretaker basis.
