Former Brighton star Will Buckley is confident manager Graham Potter is committed to the job.
Potter is being linked with Newcastle United.
But Buckley said on Seagulls Social: "He does not strike me as the sort of kind of manager who would just go for that. He has a plan in place for the long-term and is building something at Brighton.
"I can not see him leaving.
"Players are different as it is a shorter career and a lucrative comes for a big player, then decisions will have to be made. Time will tell."
