Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ready to block Donny van de Beek from leaving in January.

The midfielder was prevented from joining Everton in August by Solskjaer, but has found himself frozen out ever since.

ESPN says Solskjaer would be reluctant to let Van de Beek leave United in January.

The midfielder was linked with a move to Goodison Park this summer and reports this week claimed the Blues were set to 'revisit' their interest in January.

However, recent developments suggest they may have to wait until the summer as Solskjaer is 'prepared' for the player to push to leave when the transfer window reopens, but the United boss is keen to keep his squad together for the entire season.
