Remo Freuler is extending his stay with Atalanta.
His current contract runs to the end of this season, but the club has an option to extend to 2023 and activated it this week, says Tuttosport.
Freuler joined La Dea five years ago from FC Luzern.
The Switzerland midfielder has made seven appearances so far this season, scoring one goal in the Champions League draw with Villarreal.
