Hakainde Hichilema, the president of Zambia, praised Leicester City forward Patson Daka after his goal against Manchester United.
Daka netted the fourth goal in a 4-2 Premier League win on Saturday for Leicester City against the Red Devils.
The 23-year-old got his first goal for Leicester since arriving from RB Salzburg in the summer.
Hichilema tweeted: "Patson Daka, job well done. Very proud of you as a country. Continue making Zambia proud."
Daka responded to the message, writing: "Thank you Your Excellency for the support".
