Sevilla midfielder Erik Lamela feels he's in the best form of his career.
Lamela arrived from Tottenham in a swap for Bryan Gil.
"I feel in the best moment of maturity," said the Argentina international. "All these years have served me as an experience to grow as a player and a person. I am at a time when I fell in this place and I am excited. I am happy to be here and take advantage to play football."
In addition, with many Argentines around, he feels settled already in the locker room.
Lamela continued: "They welcomed me very well when I arrived. I knew many of them from many years ago and being here is something very nice. I have a very good relationship with the whole team, they welcomed me. They're all great.
"It's an incredible group of people and as long as there are Argentines, the better. It's a very supportive team. It's something that in the end will give us a lot of satisfaction."
