Former Inter Milan and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has no interest in the Newcastle United job.
Conte has been linked with Steve Bruce's job ever since the club's sale was confirmed.
But The Sun says the 52-year-old's current position is that his next job will need to be at a club who are already in a position to genuinely challenge for titles.
Newcastle are currently second from bottom of the Premier League, and realistically they would be a long term project to turn the squad around so they can compete with the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea.
Tough Conte loves taking on a challenge, such a long term building programme is not the kind of role he currently has in his mind.
