Brighton boss Graham Potter confirmed that defender Dan Burn is absent as his side prepare to take on Liverpool at the weekend.
The Albion travel to Anfield, but will be without their 29-year-old centre-back.
Burn experienced a hard fall during their Carabao Cup loss to Leicester City on Wednesday night, and may have a knee problem.
Potter said, per The Argus: "He had his scan, and he won't be available for the trip to Anfield.
"We don't know the full extent yet, we are still waiting to hear back on that.
"It was his knee, it was not as bad this morning, but we just need to wait and hear."
