Brighton boss Graham Potter was pleased with their 0-0 draw at Norwich City.

Neal Maupay had a penalty claim ruled out by VAR and Leandro Trossard hit the bar on a frustrating afternoon in front of goal for the visitors.

Potter said, “It was a hard fought game with both teams going at it. Both had chances and in the end we have come away with a point. We probably weren't at our best, but not at our worst either.

“Nobody has given up on anything and you could see that in the game. Norwich and us gave everything but neither team could find the goal to win it. We take a point off a team we have a lot of respect for and we move forward."

Tariq Lamptey made his first Premier League start since last December and Potter was pleased to see him back.

“It's been a long way back for Tariq. It's not easy to pick up the speed and the intensity of the Premier League quickly, so it was great to have him on the pitch."
