Saliba, on a straight loan with OM, has been a revelation this season, where many local pundits rate him the best performing defender in Ligue 1.
L'Equipe says, however, Saliba's priority was to move to Nice.
The young defender wanted return to OGCN, where he spent the previous season on-loan.
Indeed, a source says: "OM was not part of his plans".
