Newcastle midfielder Jeff Hendrick says the players are with manager Steve Bruce after defeat at Wolves.
The Republic of Ireland international scored an equaliser after coming on as sub in the Premier League clash but it wasn't enough as Hwang Hee-Chan's double strike netted three valuable points for the home side.
Newcastle will now spend the next fortnight sitting second bottom of the table after their win-less start.
Hendrick said: "I thought we worked hard.
"To come away without a point is tough to take.
"It's nice from a personal point of view to get a goal."
Hendrick hopes they can repair the damage after a poor start to the season.
He added: "The only big thing is we have got quite a bit of time before the next game. It's still early in the season.
"Of course, he [Steve Bruce] is hurting. We are all hurting.
"It is a cruel league. We have to stick together."
