Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel admits some of his international players are struggling with fatigue.
The Blues had a number of players competing at Euro 2020 and Copa America over the summer.
Mason Mount and Jorginho both reached the final of Euro 2020 with England and Italy, respectively.
"They have a lot to take for their countries, they take it, they love it because they are competitors," said Tuchel ahead of Wednesday's clash with Malmo.
"If you like it or not, if you play a thousand matches a year it can feel heavy.
"They love the game and they are such good guys, but this is what I feel."
