The father of Antoine Griezmann slammed the decision to send off the Atletico Madrid striker last night.
Griezmann saw red for a high challenge on Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino in the second-half of Atletico's 2-3 Champions League defeat at the Wanda Metropolitano. It left Atletico having to play with ten men for more than 40 minutes.
The player's father took to social media to slam the decision after seeing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, of AC Milan, escape dismissal with a similar challenge against Porto on the same evening.
"Zlatan yellow and Griezmann red. Band of clowns," Alain Griezmann posted.
