If you're not familiar with the Squid Game drama series on Netflix aka the cruor-filled carnage that operates on human desperation which, in its essence, is a satirical display of wealth disparities across South Korea, you're missing out big time.
Named the biggest show in Netflix of all time, the magnitude of its waves have travelled all around the world, and now The Korean Cultural Centre (KCC) in the UAE Capital is emulating the horror-stricken game in real life— minus the massacre, of course.

Out of 300 applicants, 30 participants have been carefully selected to join the highly anticipated contest. Instead of real guns, the infamous red jumpsuited guards will be holding a sponge firearm, and the stepping stone game will be held on flat ground— basically, all the games played in this real-life squid game will be death-proof.
The tournament-based real-life Squid Game in UAE commences on 12th October, where two rounds will be played from 5:30 PM to 9:15 PM. Participants will be wearing a Squid Game logo t-shirt as uniform, and the guards will wear the infamous red jumpsuit uniforms. No prize money will be offered, however, as the main goal of this event is to introduce Korean culture to the public.
