Mason Mount is in line for a pay-rise at Chelsea.
Goal says Chelsea are eager to open talks with Mount about a new contract. His current deal runs to 2024, however the Blues wish to extend that.
Chelsea are preparing a contract proposal for Mount which will mean that he will at least double his current wages of £75,000-a-week.
Chelsea want to reward Mount for his progress and are ready to make him one of their highest paid players.
Mount is in his third full season with Chelsea.
