Manchester City star Oleksandr Zinchenko wants to see the team show their quality after a disappointing Carabao Cup exit at the hands of West Ham United.
City, who have won the last few League Cup tournaments, were bundled out of the competition in the fourth round on Wednesday.
Despite a relatively assured performance away from home, where they had the better of the chances, City were unable to score against David Moyes' West Ham.
The resulting penalty shoot out after a 0-0 draw went West Ham's way.
Speaking to the club's website, Zinchenko said: "It wasn't our day but we created a lot of chances to score.
"Unfortunately, we didn't today but this can happen, this is football.
"We need to focus on the next one, we will take the best from this game and we are going to analyse it to see what we could do more, but I think everything will be fine."
