Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte is ready to play for Spain against Nations League final opponents France.
Laporte committed to Spain ahead of France before this summer's Euros.
France coach Didier Deschamps was asked about Laporte and he revealed the pair have not conversed since the City man swapped nations.
"I didn't speak with him again," he said.
"He had this opportunity and I am happy for him. He was with us, now he is with them, it is his choice and I respect it. It was the path he wanted to take and I hope it goes well for him, even if tomorrow our path will cross."
