Southampton fullback Tino Livramento was delighted to score in their 2-2 draw with Burnley.
The 18-year-old scored his first professional goal for Saints, declaring it a dream come true to perform at this level.
“I feel like it [the goal] was coming," admitted the youngster. "In the previous games maybe getting little half chances and obviously hitting the post today.
“I obviously would've preferred if that one went in but a goals a goal and I'm looking forward to helping the team with a few more goals moving forward.
“We worked on the set piece in training and Redders was told to put the ball into a certain area. I just got across my man and headed towards goal and luckily it went in.
“I kind of couldn't take it all in because it happened so quickly but like I said a goal is a goal and I'm just happy to help the team."
Saints missed a number of promising chances at St Mary's, a point which Livramento was keen to pick up on.
“We had more chances I think definitely in the first-half, goal-scoring opportunities but they just didn't fall our way and we didn't take our chances but I feel like Burnley had a few chances where they could have hurt us.
“You can look at it and say that a point is fair but at the end of the day you want to take three points from every game possible.
“It's a little learning curve for me individually, maybe letting my man get across me for the header in the first goal but I'm just trying to learn and take everything in."
