Valencia captain Carlos Soler says they must bounce back from defeat at Barcelona on Sunday.
Valencia next host Real Mallorca at the Mestalla.
Soler said: "We have to focus on the positives and improve what we have not done well, which has been quite a few things.
"I think the next game at Mestalla is going to be tough because Mallorca plays well and has a good squad.
"They are going to come out ready to beat us, but we at home cannot allow the rival to score. We have to go for the three points and I think that Mestalla will be with us, it will fill up to the maximum and it will be a very good game for us."
