Roma director Tiago Pinto has rejected criticism from the agent of Amadou Diawara.
Daniele Piraino has hit out at coach Jose Mourinho over his treatment of Diawara.
Before victory over Cagliari on Wednesday night, Pinto responded: "I don't want to talk about agents, I am on good terms with Piraino, but he didn't behave well.
“Diawara has always trained well and he plays whenever the coach decides so. Today Kumbulla returned.
"We stick to Mourinho's choices and protect what our coach decides."
